Research Notes |
According to Dr. Howard, there wre around 100 of these endoscopes made. They had a small range of movement. William Watson, at Victoria Hospital, was the first person to use an endoscope on a patient in London, ON. He had trained in Glasgow, and as part of his employment at Victoria Hospital, they were bound to purchase this endoscope set. It was apparently first used in airplanes to look in spark plug holes. |
