2013.31.1 A blue box for an ACME Syringe made in the USA by Becton, Dickinson & Co., Rutherford NJ. Two sides have picture of instrument. One side as features and instructions, the other information for users and dealers. Other two sides are company info. Box is in good condition, but blue is worn off in some spots. One side has pencil marks. One flap is open and has a peeling off sticker which reveals text "Plungerless Syringe No.3040-1/4oz", the front of this flap is labeled "One ACME plungerless syringe No. 3042 1/4oz." other flap blank except for "3040."; 2013.31.2 A rubber bulb colored salmon. Has raised line at mid point and terminates in a stem with an opening in the middle. Stamped on top "Becton Dickinson & Co, Rutherford, NJ Pat 2.085.025" Mid point labeled "1/4oz B&D" In good condition; 2013.31.3 A glass syringe tube with a tapered opening which leads to stem. First centimeter is slightly discolored due to contact with rubber bulb. The unmarked clear glass ends with a rubber tipped nozzle.; 2013.31.4 One side seems to be an ad for an additional product available to aid in "convenience" of the instrument. Other side is directions for use with an illustration of a hand holding the instrument. Paper yellowed, especially at edges and printed in USA. Three fold lines present |
