Belonged to Dr. Douglas Bocking (1920-2020), former Dean of Medicine at Western University (1965-1978), during his professional career. Dr. Bocking graduated from Western in 1943 with a degree in medicine, then was an intern and resident at Montreal General Hospital for three years before practicing in Hawkesbury, Ontario for three years. He then completed training in rheumatic disease for two years in America and opened a consulting practice in internal and rheumatic disease in London, Ontario in 1952. He had trained at McGill University and Harvard Univeristy. He also then became a professor in medicine at Western, eventually becoming Dean of the faculty. In the 1980s, he did geriatric practice with privileges at Westminster and Parkwood. |
