2010.013.15.1 Black cylindrical leather case with 21cm long zipper running down the center. Case has holes in the bottom and along bottom edge from wear. Inside there's a strap to hold ear cleaning instruments. 2010.013.15.2 Metal cylindrical tube shaped otoscope. The very top of otoscope there is a glass dome, and along the top area of the tube there is an outer layer with a diameter larger than the rest of the tube in the shape of a lemon. On this structure, there is a magnifying glass that can slide in or out of the structure, and a metal piece in the shape of a triangle that moves up or down. The bottom of the structure is hollow and has a slit along the side that is 1cm wide and 2cm long that reveals in the inside. 2010.013.15.3 Hollow speculum, in the shape of a metal cone. On one side of the speculum there are two protruding 1cm, flat disks. The disks are 1cm apart and are circular in shape, with square open centers, and the other side of the cone is a small oval shaped hole. The top of the cone has a minor scoop along one side that is about 0.5cm long. 2010.013.15.4 Metal instrument with 8cm long handle. The instruments top resembles the shape of a heart, and has an upward bend of about 45 degrees. The instrument has a hollow center. 2010.013.15.5 Metal tube with corkscrew bottom. The center of the tube there is diamond shaped patterned grip that runs for 1cm. Above the grip, the tube can separate into two tubes. The tube is hollow. 2010.013.15.6 Bronze coloured metal ear curette with one sharp pointy end, and the other a 1cm long scoop that is 0.2 cm wide. 2010.013.15.7 Bronze coloured metal ear curette with one blunt round end in the shape of a tear drop, and the other a 1cm long scoop that is 0.5 cm wide. |
