Description |
A brown wooden box in the shape of a rectangle. The lid of the box has an elliptical gold shape in its centre. The front of the box has another smaller elliptical shape with the keyhole. The lid opens by a pair of metal hinges at the back. The open box has a purple velvet lining inside both the lid and the bottom of the case. There is a raised section serving as a template for storage of the various items within. The object is a grey metal syringe instrument with an ivory plunger at the top in a yellow/cream colour. Metal protrudes through this handle, which is shaped for fingers. The ends of the plunger are ornamental, with decorative concentric circles at each end. The lever on the device also works and is secured by well-oiled screws. The object is a red rubber hose with a metal attachment at one end and a black attachment at the other. There is a hole through the black end. The purple lining of the case has come off on parts of the tube. A fabric green tube faded in parts with metal attachments at one end. The other end is frayed. In fact, a piece of the tube has broken off. The object is black. It is cylindrical in shape and, in the centre, the two ends of the cylinder are joined by a hollow circle. This is an off-white, flattened tube, in three pieces. A hollow cylindrical object with one end that splays out like a funnel. A metal and ivory accessory that begins with a cylindrical connector and ends with a hollow ivory tube. A metal and ivory accessory that is in the shape of an L, with the connector facing perpendicular to the hollow tube. A wooden dark brown object that has a hole through the centre to steady an enema nozzle in a vertical position. A metal key for the enema/stomach pump case wrapped in paper and found stored under component 10. |
